EXHIBIT
LAGOONS
More than 40,000 marine animals,
comprising 150 species, call Atlantis home. They
live in 11 exhibit lagoons - the largest man-made
marine habitat in the world, larger by far than
the Monterey or Baltimore aquariums and even Sea
World. Most of these marine animals at Atlantis
are indigenous to Bahamian waters and they live
in a sophisticated ecosystem with their well-being
diligently monitored by state-of-the-art aquarium
technology
